* Robbery South San Francisco Of 16-Year-Old In Orange Memorial Park

A 16-year-old boy was robbed in a South San Francisco park on Saturday afternoon, police said.Officers responded to a report of a robbery in Orange Memorial Park at about 2:20 p.m.The victim told police he was walking near some basketball courts when two males came up and asked if they could look at his cell phone and iTouch player.The boy handed over his cell phone, and when he asked for it back, one of the suspects punched him in the mouth and stole the phone, police said. The suspects, both described as young adults wearing black hoodies and blue jeans, were last seen running along the Centennial Park Trail.Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to contact South San Francisco police at (650) 877-8900.
