Fraud/Financial San Jose California, Stolen Checks Used At Target Store

The San Jose Police Department is asking for your help in identifying the person in this surveillance video. Detective Christopher Proft reports that on November 23rd 2007 the victim’s purse was stolen from a her car parked on Branbury Way. The next day, this suspect was seen allegedly using the victim’s stolen checks to buy items at the Target Store on Silver Creek Road in San Jose. On the following day , November 25, 2007, the suspect allegedly again used the stolen checks to buy more merchandise at a Target Store on Monterey Road in San Jose. According to detectives, the checks had been altered to reflect the name Stephanie Gorguhe with an address in Modesto, California.
