The San Mateo County Sheriff’s Department is currently seeking Josue Orozco on a warrant charging him with Murder and Escape. Detective Robert Rangel reports that on February 14, 2008, escaped from a juvenile detention facility near Freeway 280 and Highway 92 in San Mateo. Detective Rangel reports that Orozco hurt his leg or ankle during his escape. Two other inmates that acted as accomplices and allegedly helped Orozco climb the fence and escape now face additional charges. Orozco is an alleged street gang member from Redwood City and has shorter hair now than he has in the photo. He may visit or stay with friends or relatives in San Mateo or Santa Clara counties.
