ARRESTED

The Union City Police Department is currently seeking Jeffrey Spencer Delaney on a warrant charging him with Assault with a Deadly Weapon. Detective Ward reports that Delaney is wanted in connection with an assault with a deadly weapon that occurred in a residential area of Union City. In October 2007 the suspect and victim had an argument over an ex-girlfriend. When the victim attempted to walk away, he turned back and saw the suspect shoot at him. The victim was not injured. The suspect then fled on foot to an unknown area. The suspect is known to frequent areas in Modesto, Hayward and Union City.
