The Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office is currently seeking Elidio Bautista Gonzales on a 1.8 milli on dollar warrant charging him with multiple counts of Child Molest. Detectives report that on Gonzales is currently charged with 8 counts of child molest involving multiple victims and substantial sexual conduct. Immediately upon learning that the victims had reported the crimes Gonzales fled to Mexico. Gonzales was later arrested by Mexican police in Tepic Nayarit, Jalisco, Mexico and booked into the Centro De RehabilitaciÛn (Jail). He was released from custody on February 15th 2008. Gonzales lived in Bay Point, California prior to fleeing and still has friends and relatives in the area. The suspect is believed to be back in the United States or on his way back from Mexico.
