The Broward County SheriffĂ­ Office, Florida is seeking information regarding unknown suspect(s) responsible for the murder of Sergeant Christopher Reyka. On Friday, August 10, 2007, Sergeant Reyka was gunned down outside a Walgreens store in Pompano Beach, Florida while checking license plates for possible stolen vehicles. Sergeant Reyka had parked next to the two suspicious vehicles and was checking the license plates when the passenger of one vehicle exited and began shooting, striking the Sergeant at least five times. Customers of the store immediately called 911 to report the shooting. Sergeant Reyka was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his wounds a short time later. The suspect fled the scene and remains at large. These are photographs of the vehicle that the unknown suspects were last seen driving. The vehicle is described as a late 1998 to early 2000 Ford Crown Victoria or a 1995 to 2004 Mercury Grand Marquis.
