Walnut Creek Police Seek Guaranty Bank Robber

Walnut Creek police are searching for a man who robbed a bank on North Main Street this afternoon. The suspect entered the Guaranty Bank at 2536 N. Main St. shortly before 3 p.m., displayed a note to a teller and fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money, police said. No weapon was seen and no one was injured in the robbery. The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic man, 30 years old, 5 feet 6 inches tall with a stocky build and brown crew cut, mustache and goatee. He was last seen wearing a white shirt, green jacket, dark blue hat and blue sunglasses.
