* Livermore Man Brett Bartlett, 30, Arrested With Child Porn While Registering As Sex Offender

A registered sex offender was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of possessing child pornography, Livermore police said today.Brett Bartlett, 30, had gone to the Livermore police station for his annual sex offender registration. He was convicted in 2005 for having oral sex with a person under 16 years old, an offense that requires him to register as a sex offender. Bartlett is also currently on parole for having oral and sexual intercourse with a person under 16 years old, police said.While Bartlett was in the police station, detectives conducted a parole search on this vehicle, police said.Inside the vehicle, detectives found a computer that allegedly contained numerous images of child pornography, police said. Investigators are still attempting to identify the victims from the pornographic images.Police are asking that anyone who has any information about crime involving Bartlett to contact Livermore police Lt. Matthew Sarsfield at (925) 371-4730.

I’ve met this guy and he is real douche bag. He dated one of my friends and was cheating on her constantly with random people he met online.

I unfortunately knew this guy when he was “in the church” and we thought he was better.
He did things he was NOT supposed to to break his parole (including but not limited to HAVING A COMPUTER).
He also continued to reach out to his former students via email. AND met and “dated” people that were in their early 20’s – at the time, the same age as the children that he had sex with would currently be.
He is a freak and a sociopath. I mean, just look at his jail picture this time. And his jail picture from when he was 24 or whatever. He is like gleaming in his eyes. WTF is wrong with him.
This is a freak that does not change.
This is not to put down the church but they should not allow people like this to be on stage playing the band faking that they are “good people” and representing the church when the church frankly does not know better.
I do feel bad for his mother and sister as they are wonderful people.
I am shocked that I found this news article. Then again I am not.
I am also not surprised that he had the computer in his car along with the pictures and whatever else. He definitely thinks he is above the law and can do whatever he pleases.
After some time he admitted to me that he did not feel that it was wrong of him to commit his original offenses. I was stunned.
When I discovered his true colors I ran the heck away and never looked back.
