*Jason Green Arrested After Shooting At Victims During Home Burglary on Barranca Road in Lagunitas Marin County

Marin County sheriff’s deputies arrested a 29-year-old man suspected of burglarizing a home and possibly firing a shotgun in the unincorporated area of Lagunitas late Friday morning. The deputies responded to a home on Barranca Road around 11:15 a.m. where two victims stated that as they had pulled into their driveway, they encountered a man who fired one round from a shotgun at them, according to the Marin County Sheriff’s Office. The man also allegedly threatened to kill the victims and their family, the sheriff’s office reported. The deputies saw a champagne Honda Accord fleeing the area and
after a short pursuit detained the driver, 29-year-old Jason Green, according to the sheriff’s office. The victims identified Green as the suspect, and deputies
allegedly located a television that had been stolen from the victim’s home in Green’s car, the sheriff’s office reported. The deputies also allegedly found
a shotgun in his car. Green was booked into the Marin County jail on suspicion of burglary, exhibiting a firearm, assault with a firearm, criminal threats and
possession of stolen property. His bail was set at $1 million.
