* US Marshal’s Office Seeking Edward Mendoza on Federal Narcotics Warrants

The US Marshal’s Office is currently seeking Edward Mendoza on a warrant charging him with federal narcotics violations. According to deputy marshals, Mendoza was arrested in 1994 in the San Diego area for Transportation of Narcotics. He was allegedly transporting narcotics from Mexico when he was stopped by federal agents and arrested. He was released from jail pending his trial and later failed to appear in court. He assumed the alias of Domingo Mendoza and moved to Medford, Oregon. While living there he obtained an Oregon driver’s license using his alias. His true identity was discovered when he became involved in a serious drunk driving, hit and run traffic accident. Unfortunately, he fled and was able to escape arrest. He has been able to elude law enforcement for over 15 years. He is originally from San Jose and he may visit or stay with family or friends there. This photo of Mendoza is 5 years old.
