The Redwood City Police Department is currently seeking Michael Edward Habr on a warrant charging him with Unlawful Intercourse. According to Detective Galotta, Habr met the 15-year-old female victim at the gym where he was employed, and was advised of the victim’s age. A week later, Habr asked the victim to meet him at the gym at the close of business and the victim agreed. After the gym was closed, Habr allegedly forced the victim to engage in sexual intercourse. The following week, Habr obtained employment for the victim at the gym. During the victim’s 5-week employment at the gym, Habr digitally penetrated the victim, forced the victim to engage in sexual intercourse several times, and repeatedly had the victim orally copulate him. Once the victim refused to comply with Habr’s demands, she was fired. The victim eventually reported the sexual assaults to police and the suspect was arrested. After a Preliminary Hearing, the suspect agreed to a guilty plea in exchange for lesser charges. On the scheduled Sentencing date, Habr failed to appear and a $500,000 arrest warrant was issued for Habr arrest for False Imprisonment and Unlawful Sexual Intercourse.
