* Woman Fatally Shot in Her Car, Richmond and Pinole Police Investigating

A 25-year-old Richmond woman was fatally shot in a car this morning in Pinole, according to the Richmond Police Department. At about 4:30 a.m., Richmond officers were sent to a Valero gas station at 2401 Appian Way in Pinole. When they arrived, they located the woman who had been shot. She was taken to a nearby hospital, where she was pronounced dead.  A vehicle had pulled into the gas station shortly before police arrived requesting assistance. The driver said that someone in a dark sport utility vehicle fired multiple shots at his car on Interstate Highway 80 near Cutting Boulevard, according to Richmond police. The motive for the shooting remains under investigation. The suspects left the area and have not been identified.     no more pick ups at richmond amtrak-too much violence there,better if you could drive down or i pick you up in fairfield/cordelia but not going to martinez again if you cant get off the train
