A man was stabbed several times in San Francisco this morning and when it led to a search of his home, officers found more than 100 pot plants inside, a police sergeant said. The man called police just before 1 a.m. and said he had been stabbed on Canyon Road near Robinson Drive, Sgt. Wilfred Williams said. Further investigation revealed the man’s home was a few blocks away near South Hill Boulevard and Robinson Drive and officers found blood from the stabbing and the pot plants that were about 4-feet tall, Williams said. The man told police he had been robbed, but Williams could not confirm anything was missing from the home. He remained in the hospital today with serious injuries but is expected to survive, Williams said. Suspect information was not available.
