The San Jose Police Department is asking for help in identifying the woman in this surveillance video. According to detectives, this woman went to the La Plaza Jewelry Store located on the corner of East Santa Clara Street and 24th Street near downtown. After browsing around the store she walked outside to the parking lot and stood for a while next to the victim’s car. She was then got into her car and began driving toward the parking lot exit. As she drove past the victim’s car, she stop, got out, opened the victim’s car door and allegedly stole the victim’s purse. La Plaza Jewelry Store is offering a $500 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of this suspect.
