Officer Brandon Richards joined the Morgan Hill Street Crimes team on Monday, May 12, 2008 and by the end of his first week, he and his partner, Officer Greg Dini, investigated a gang related stabbing, arrested a 16 year old for possession for sales of marijuana and cocaine, and arrested two young adults for tagging 30 different locations in Morgan Hill. Sunnyvale, California ID#07-237

The Sunnyvale Police Department is currently seeking Gilberto Morales on a warrant charging him with Murder. Detective Jose Ramirez reports that on 8-17-07, a gang fight occurred in the City of Sunnyvale involving Sureno and Norteno gang members. During the fight, the suspects fatally stabbed a sureno gang member and fled the area. Suspect Gilberto Morales and Suspect Jose Verdi have been identified as the primary suspects in the case. Both suspects are validated Norteno gang members from Mountain View.

Sunnyvale, California ID#07-219

The Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety is currently seeking Michael Muniz on a warrant charging him with Murder. Detective Jose Ramirez reports that April 26th 2007, a victim was stabbed to death in a gang related assault. Muniz was identified as allegedly being involved in the murder. He uses the nickname of “Green Eyes” and has tattoos of dots on his left finger and right elbow. Muniz is an alleged gang member and may visit or stay with friends or relatives in the city of Milpitas. DOB 8/13/87

San Jose, California ID#06-003

San Jose Police Detective Dave Honda reports that Tran Lac has been identified as one of three gunmen who forced their way into a home in the 500 block of N. Capitol Ave. and robbed several of the occupants. Tran has a $500,000 Warrant on file with San Jose Warrants. Tran is also on Parole and has a violent history. He frequents the area of Panoche Ct. in San Jose. He should be considered armed and dangerous. DOB 10/16/1980

San Jose Police Detective Aragon reports that on 12/3/05 at approximately 7:45pm, a gang related shooting occurred in the 700 block of N. 12th St. The victim and witnesses described the suspects as Hispanic with dark clothing and hooded sweatshirts. (more…)
