The Alameda Police Department is asking for your help in identifying the person in this surveillance photo. Detective Don Owyang reports that this suspect is allegedly responsible for the robbery of the Alameda Credit Union in Alameda on May 13, 2008. This bank robber is described as an African American male, 20’s, 506, 180, husky build, dark complexion, short black afro, thin mustache on upper lip, wearing a plain black ball cap, oversize white t shirt, black pants, black tennis shoes robbed the Alameda Credit Union. In this robbery, the enters the bank and asks about opening an account. When both tellers are seated, the suspect said “I want all the money” and simulated like he had a weapon in his waistband. Because of this, he is also considered Armed and Dangerous. The suspect then reaches over and takes cash from both tellers and flees on foot. He allegedly started his crime spree by robbing a bank in Fremont on November 2nd 2008. His last bank robbery was on May 23rd 2008. The Elmore County, Idaho Sheriff’s Department is currently seeking Maria Garcia on warrant charging her with being an Accessory to the murders of her son’s wife and two infant (2 years old and 3 years old) children. Detectives report that Garcia’s son allegedly shot and killed his wife then shot and killed each infant in a rual area of Idaho. If that was not despicable enough, Garcia and another son then allegedly then helped conceal him and drive him to San Jose. They were last seen with relatives in the area of Avalani and Luby Drives near King and McKee Roads in San Jose.DOB 8/7/1962

The San Jose Police Department is currently seeking Tanya Castanon on a warrant charging her with Fraud. Detective Kirk Wilson reports that Castanon is wanted on two different fraud cases. The first was while working at the Kaiser Santa Teresa pharmacy, she allegedly used customer’s credit card information to purchase merchandise via the internet. The second case was that she was selling merchandise on eBay and not delivering it. She confessed to both crimes but because she was a mother with no record and two little children, police decided to let her self-surrender when the warrant was issued. Unfortunately, she took off with her family as soon as police notified her about the warrant. Her husband left his job at the Jamba Juice in Morgan Hill and they moved out of their home without a forwarding address. DOB 9/24/78

The San Jose Police Department is currently seeking Christopher Alvarez on a warrant charging him with Fraud. Detective Kirk Wilson reports that Alvarez allegedly uses the internet to conduct fraud schemes. He was first arrested for selling high-end digital cameras and offering large rebates. Those who received a camera never got a rebate, but most never received a camera. Alvarez likes to gamble and live the high roller life style. Police conducted a probation search at his Grandparents house that yielded several promotion cards from various Indian casinos and Las Vegas resorts. He was living in Tracy, CA with an unknown girlfriend, but they moved out 2 days before police arrived. DOB 5/31/82

The California Department of Corrections is currently seeking Jesus Hector Pena on a warrant charging him with Parole Violation. Agents report that Pena was released on parole after being convicted of sex offenses. He has allegedly absconded parole supervision and is now considered a Parolee-at-Large.
