Detective Kirk Wilson reports that Alvarez allegedly uses the internet to conduct fraud schemes. He was first arrested for selling high-end digital cameras and offering large rebates. Those who received a camera never got a rebate, but most never received a camera. Alvarez likes to gamble and live the high roller life style. Police conducted a probation search at his Grandparents house that yielded several promotion cards from various Indian casinos and Las Vegas resorts. He was living in Tracy, CA with an unknown girlfriend, but they moved out 2 days before police arrived. DOB 5/31/82
