A Dallas teenager accused of killing two other teens in Garland earlier this month has been arrested in Mexico.

On January 24, 2024, Amancio Anton Noriz, age 16, was located and detained in the area of Monterrey Nuevo León, Mx, with the assistance of Laredo US Marshals, Noriz was later deported via land to the United States pending Capital Murder proceedings out of the area of Garland, Texas involving the alleged murder of two teens.
Noriz was booked by the Laredo PD/ US Marshals Fugitive Task Force and remanded to Webb County juvenile Detention Center, pending extradition. A court gave special permission to identify the juvenile due to the severity of the offense alleged in this case.

**Update** Shooting Incident from January 14
After a lengthy investigation, detectives have issued a Directive to Apprehend warrant for a juvenile subject believed to be involved in the shooting that claimed the lives of two victims on January 14, 2024.
The Garland Police Department is actively seeking 16-year-old Amancio Anton Noriz, a Dallas resident who is the subject of the Directive to Apprehend warrant. Although it is not customary for the Garland Police Department to disclose information regarding minors, the court has granted permission to release information in light of the severity of the offense.
On January 14, 2024, at approximately 3:15 pm, Garland Officers responded to an emergency call in the 2300 block of West Buckingham Road. When Garland Officers and paramedics arrived, they observed two male subjects suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Both subjects were transported to the hospital, where they later died from their injuries.
The Garland Police Department is appealing to the public to report any information they have on his whereabouts immediately by calling 911.
Amancio is described as a Hispanic male with dark hair, brown eyes, approximately 4’ 9” in height, and around 120 pounds.
