San Antonio Woman Arrested After Viral Shooting Video
A viral video from Saturday shows a woman firing at a San Antonio home, her gun jamming before she continued to pull the trigger. The footage also shows her smashing a window with the weapon.
Police identified the suspect as 30-year-old Cynthia Deluna, who was arrested Sunday. She faces charges of deadly conduct with a firearm and unlawfully carrying a weapon.
The homeowner, who asked not to be identified, said the incident was especially disturbing because her late father’s ashes were kept near the shattered window. “It was like he was protecting us,” she told reporters.
Despite Deluna’s arrest, the family says they remain on edge. The video shows her communicating with the driver of a silver Toyota Camry, who has not been identified.
San Antonio police are asking anyone with information on the Camry or its driver to contact investigators.
