Alleged JV Liquor Store Robbery Caught on Camera

Gilroy police are asking for the public's help to identify alleged JV Liquor Store robbery suspects.

On 05/15/23 at approximately 8:04 pm, a strong armed robbery occurred at JV Liquor. The male and female in the photos walked up to the counter to purchase alcohol. When the clerk grabbed one of the bottles, the female grabbed the second bottle and attempted flee.

A fight ensued between the female and the clerk, during which time she punched the clerk in the face causing injury.

While the fight was going on, the male took 2 bottles of alcohol and fled. The female left momentarily, but returned and walked to the counter. She pushed a display over and left.

Both suspects were seen walking southbound on Hanna Street.

Any help in identifying the suspects is greatly appreciated.
