SFPD Seeks Publics Assistance in Finding Suspect in Aggravated Assault on Elder Victim
On Tuesday, June 20, 2023, at approximately 3:45 PM, San Francisco Police officers from Tenderloin Station responded to the area of UN Plaza to investigate a reported, unprovoked aggravated assault of an 83-year-old male victim.
When officers arrived on scene, they located the victim who was being treated by medics. Medics transported the victim to a local hospital to be treated for bone fractures.
General Work investigators took over the investigation and are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating the suspect involved in the incident. The suspect appears to be an approximately 35–45-year-old, white adult male with light-colored hair. He was last seen wearing a dark-colored hooded jacket, a blue collared shirt, camouflage pants, and black shoes, and is carrying a large black plastic bag.

No arrests have been made and this remains an open and active investigation.
