Cathy Sposito was attending college in Prescott.
The Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office has announced they used DNA evidence to solved the 36-year-old cold case murder of college student Cathy Sposito.
Deputies report that she was murdered by then 16-year-old serial rapist Bryan Scott Bennett.
Bennett can not be prosecuted because he committed suicide in 1994 in Kentucky.
