México State Attorney General’s Office sources confirmed that Interpol has issued a Red Notice for the former mayor of Toluca, Mexico, Raymundo Martínez Carbajal.
A Red Notice is a request to law enforcement worldwide to locate and provisionally arrest a person pending extradition.
Raymundo Martínez Carbajal has been charged with kidnapping after allegedly ordering city police officers to arrest his father-in-law.
Viridiana Rodríguez, the ex-wife of Martínez, reported the kidnapping of her father to authorities, and also accused her ex-husband of crimes including physical and sexual violence and making threats toward her and other members of her family.
