American Canyon police report they recovered two guns at the scene.
An American Canyon Police Department officer shot a suspect in Vallejo on Thursday afternoon, ACPD confirmed to KRON4.
At about 3:15 p.m., ACPD officers attempted to stop a car for a vehicle code violation in the area of Highway 29 and American Canyon Road. The driver did not stop, and police chased him into Vallejo.
The suspect’s car eventually crashed into a wooden fence near Souza Way and Gateway Drive in Vallejo. One officer fired his weapon.
