The Harris County Sheriff’s Office Homicide investigators are releasing surveillance footage and need the public’s help in identifying persons of interest in a murder that occurred in north Harris County.
On Wednesday, December 20, 2023, at approximately 7:45 p.m., patrol deputies responded to the 14200 block of Lee Road in reference to a major accident.
Responding deputies discovered that one of the vehicle’s drivers, now identified as 30-year-old Gary Houston, had suffered multiple gunshot wounds before the multi-vehicle accident. The driver was transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
It was later determined that the shooting took place in the Haverstock Hill’s apartment complex located at 5619 Aldine Bender, a short distance from the crash scene.
