New report sheds light on Trooper Jeffrey Dunlap’s deadly officer-involved shooting on I-26 in North Carolina.
A new medical examiner’s report has revealed the suspect Wesley Scott Taylor killed in an officer-involved shooting last July along I-26 had been drinking alcohol beforehand.
Todd Williams the Buncombe County DA: “The officer absolutely was justified to use deadly force in response to the threat, as would any other citizen.”
The use of deadly force was ruled ‘Legally Justified.’
