Woman allegedly kicks puppies behind glass at pet store.
Authorities are actively seeking a woman captured on camera allegedly mistreating puppies at a pet store in Chelsea.
The incident occurred at CitiPups on 8th Avenue around 3:45 Saturday afternoon. Surveillance footage shows the woman kicking puppy kennels and later slapping another customer in the face. Emilio Ortiz, the store manager, disclosed to PIX11 News that the suspect also spat at the customer following the altercation.
Efforts to identify the woman are underway, and authorities urge anyone with information regarding her identity to contact them at [email protected].
