The U.S. Marshals have identified the fourth suspect being sought for the mass shooting at a SEPTA bus stop in Philadelphia last week that left eight teenagers wounded.
Asir Boone, 17, is wanted for attempted murder. He should be considered armed and dangerous, officials said.
The U.S. Marshals have officially identified Asir Boone, 17, as the fourth suspect wanted in connection with the mass shooting that occurred at a SEPTA bus stop in Philadelphia last week, resulting in eight teenagers sustaining injuries.
Boone wanted for attempted murder, is considered armed and dangerous, prompting officials to offer a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to his arrest. The Marshals underscored that the reward would be promptly processed upon Boone’s apprehension.
Described as 5’6″ tall and weighing around 140 pounds, Boone’s last known address is in the Germantown section of Philadelphia, specifically the 500 block of West Manheim Street. Additionally, he is known to frequent the Olney section of the city.
Supervisory Deputy U.S. Marshal Robert Clark issued a stern warning, stating that Boone’s opportunity to surrender has elapsed, urging the public’s cooperation to further the investigation. Clark emphasized that individuals aiding Boone’s evasion would face legal consequences.

Meanwhile, three suspects have already been taken into custody. Jermahd Carter, 19, was apprehended without incident at a relative’s residence on the 12000 block of Academy Road. Additionally, 18-year-olds Jamaal Tucker and Ahnile Buggs were arrested earlier, facing charges including attempted murder and aggravated assault.
The shooting incident, which transpired at Cottman and Rising Sun avenues, targeted several Northeast High School students waiting for the bus, resulting in injuries to students aged between 15 and 17. Among the victims, a 16-year-old boy sustained nine gunshot wounds, necessitating critical medical attention. However, all victims are now in stable condition.
Surveillance footage depicts three assailants exiting a blue Hyundai and initiating gunfire. Notably, court records indicate that Buggs communicated with an incarcerated individual regarding the shooting, raising suspicions about potential connections to previous incidents, including the fatal shooting of 17-year-old Dayemen Taylor, also at a SEPTA bus stop.
