San Jose Police Arrest Roger Le for Alleged Homicide

Police say that Roger Le was subsequently booked into the Santa Clara County Main Jail and will be charged with murder.

On May 23rd, 2024, at approximately 10:47AM, Patrol Officers responded to a report of a suspicious circumstance at a residence in the 200 block of Shadow Dance Drive. Upon arrival, Officers located an adult female victim that was not conscious and not breathing. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. Officers detained the victim’s adult male son inside of the residence. He was identified as Roger Le.

The San José Police Department Homicide Unit responded to the scene and began a comprehensive investigation into the incident. The suspect was identified as Roger Le and he was subsequently booked into the Santa Clara County Main Jail and will be charged with murder.

The motive and circumstances surrounding the incident are under investigation.

The identity of the victim will be released by the Santa Clara County Coroner’s Office after confirming the victim’s identity and notifying next of kin.

This is the City’s 14th homicide of 2024.
