Family Out For a Walk Find an Abandoned Newborn Baby on a Walking Trail

Deputies say the newborn baby is listed in good condition a Methodist Hospital.

Sheriff describes a man believed to have left a newborn baby along a walking trail in NW Harris County.

Investigators are looking for the person who left a newborn baby girl on a walking path in northwest Harris County on Saturday.

Wow! Harris County Sheriff’s Office units responded to the 5500 block of Casa Martin, near Greenhouse and N Fry Rd in Katy.

Adjacent to a bayou, a pre-mature  newborn infant girl, still with an umbilical cord attached, was discovered abandoned and wrapped in a blanket. The infant has been transported to a hospital in fair condition.

Update: we need your help! We are seeking info about a young Hispanic or White male, slim, fair complexion with black hair, who was holding the infant wrapped in a towel. He was wearing a black shirt, possibly gray pants. The male was on foot on the Plantation Lakes walking trail.

The infant remains in good condition.
