An investigation is underway after two people tried to break into a home in Valley Village and the homeowner shot one of them.
A homeowner in Valley Village shot an intruder inside his house on Monday. Officers responded to the 11600 block of Addison Street, between Colfax Avenue and Valley Village Park, around 3:10 p.m. for a home invasion where the suspect was shot by the homeowner, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Details surrounding the home invasion and shooting remain limited, and the extent of the suspect’s injuries is unknown. Detectives continued their investigation Monday evening.
