Veterans Day Salute to Uncle Eduardo de Leon

During World War Two he was only about 19-20 years old and flew P-51 Mustang fighter planes escorting B-17 Bombers planes on bombing raids over Germany.

They flew through heavy anti-aircraft gunfire from German 88 cannons and he fought off NAZI Messerschmitt fighter planes.

His best friend was shot down and killed over Bitburg, Germany.

Durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial, Eduardo tenía sólo entre 19 y 20 años y voló aviones de combate P-51 Mustang escoltando aviones bombarderos B-17 en bombardeos sobre Alemania.

Volaron a través de intensos disparos antiaéreos de 88 cañones alemanes y él luchó contra los aviones de combate nazis Messerschmitt.

Su mejor amigo fue abatido y asesinado en Bitburg, Alemania.
