Auburn gunmen shoot four people in ‘planned ambush,’ police say.
Video shows four masked suspects ambush a group exiting a Metro bus in Auburn, resulting in a shootout that left 100 shell casings at the scene.

Around 6:40 AM on July 28th, officers responded to the 2900 block of M St SE following a report of a shooting.
When officers arrived, they found nearly 100 shell casings just south of the intersection. The investigation revealed that the shooting appeared to be a planned ambush and not a random act.
Video shows four masked suspects approaching a group of five people exiting a Metro bus. The four suspects produced handguns and began shooting at the victims. During the investigation, it was determined that one of the victims was armed as well and returned fire as they fled.
It is believed that several of the suspects were using illegally modified pistols converted to full auto. Four (3 juveniles and1 adult) of the five victims sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
