Brazen Robbery and Shooting at Sunoco Gas Station Caught on Camera

The victim stopped at a Sunoco Gas Station to get gas when he was attacked.

The brazen robbery was caught on video at SE Houston Sunoco gas station.

Houston police are searching for two men who robbed a man at a Sunoco gas station along MLK Boulevard on Dec. 11, 2023.

The Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division needs the public’s assistance identifying the suspects responsible for an aggravated robbery.

On Monday, December 11, 2023 at around 3:30 pm, the complainants were parked at a Sunoco Gas Station and convenience store at the 7000 block of Martin Luther King, in Houston, Texas. The complainant stated that while at the pumps, an acquaintance pulled up behind him and they began talking. The complainant stated that an unknown male suddenly appeared and pointed a handgun at him while demanding his money. The suspect then discharged his weapon, striking the complainant in the leg and causing him to drop his cash along with his food on the ground. A second suspect then appeared and pointed a handgun at the complainant while the first suspect grabbed some of the money from the ground. Both suspects then fled the location in a black Audi SUV.

The complainant stated that prior to the incident, he sold a vehicle at a gas station parking lot near Almeda Genoa and 288 and was possibly followed by the suspects.

Suspect descriptions: Black male, 18 to 25 years old, 5’8, thin build, appeared to have a goatee, black pullover, black pants, black sandals.
Suspect #2: Black male, 18 to 25 years old, thin build, light colored pullover, white shorts, and red sandals.
