Police say that Joshua Mitchell was armed with an AK-47 assault rifle and 400 rounds.
The Denver Police Department has released body camera video of a fatal officer-involved shooting of Joshua Mitchell at Commons Park.
Police say that officers responded to a call of a man with a long gun who was chasing and yelling at people.
When officers arrived on the scene, the suspect began shooting at them.
Officers returned fire and shot the suspect, killing him.
