Akron Police Department Press Release Re: Wanted Murder Suspect Denzel Pope
On July 28th, at approximately 12:26 a.m., officers responded to a shooting at 14 Socrates Place. When they arrived, they located the victim, 24-year-old Paige Calich, with an apparent gunshot wound to the torso. EMS transported the victim to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
Detectives have been following up on evidence and tips from the community. Today, an arrest was made on 25-year-old Corvette Pope for her involvement with the death.

El 28 de julio, aproximadamente a las 12:26 a. m., los agentes respondieron a un tiroteo en el número 14 de Socrates Place.
