DoorDash Driver allegedly disarmed over a tip.
A DoorDash driver is facing charges after allegedly reaching for a gun during a dispute over a tip. According to police, the driver claimed he had been promised a cash tip but never received it.
He reportedly returned to the customer’s home the next morning to demand the tip. A confrontation broke out between the driver and the homeowner, during which the driver allegedly attempted to reveal he was armed.
Authorities say he told them he “tried to pull his shirt up to show [the homeowner] he was armed after he was confronted.” He has been charged with provoking an assault and unlawfully carrying a weapon. The driver denies any wrongdoing. (Video shown to inform and educate)
