East Bay Regional Park District Police Department Press Release Re: Recover Stolen Car
One of our officers was on patrol in the Oakland hills this morning when he witnessed individuals attempting to steal a parked car. He was able to stop the crime from occurring. The suspect vehicle, along with numerous suspects inside, sped off from the scene and the officer. Less than an hour later, the officer spotted the suspect vehicle in another area of the Oakland hills. As he was about to contact the occupants, they all fled on foot, just west of Skyline Blvd.
EBRPD Officers, EBRPD Air Support, EBRPD Investigators and Oakland PD Officers responded to the scene. Thanks to the hard work and dedication of everyone involved, all 7 suspects were located and safely detained.
The vehicle was later discovered to be stolen. Also, multiple weapons inside, including a replica firearm, and ski masks were in the vehicle.
Oh, and the vehicle only had five seats.

No information on what the charges are? Why do you even bother reporting on these crimes?
