An Edgewater police officer has come under criticism after a Jefferson County prosecutor said she offered a plea deal to a defendant after an officer’s language and actions were caught on his body cam.
The news report says that the officer had previously been fired by the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office due to his conduct. The officer was then hired by the Edgewater Police Department five months later.
