Suspect Eduardo Sarabia faces two felony charges of alleged forcible rape and oral copulation, as per the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, and is currently held without bail.
The alleged assaults occurred between 9:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. on Sunday and Monday in the secluded canyon hills above Azusa.
A booking photo of Sarabia and an image of his white van, purportedly utilized in the assaults, were released by the Sheriff’s Department.
Sarabia’s apprehension took place after a deputy encountered him near mile marker 21 on Highway 39. He was instructed to exit the van at gunpoint.
The deputy relayed to dispatch that he heard a woman’s cries for help emanating from the back of the van.
Sarabia is slated to appear in court on June 27.
Detectives suspect there may be additional victims given the nature of the allegations.

Detectives with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Special Victims Bureau are investigating two separate sexual assault cases involving female victims who were sexually assaulted by Eduardo Sarabia along Highway 39 in the Angeles National Forest. The incidents occurred on May 12, 2024, and May 13, 2024, between 2130-2200 hours.
Mr. Sarabia was arrested on May 13, 2024, under booking number 6809276. The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office filed two felony counts of forcible rape and forcible oral copulation out of Pomona Court on May 15, 2024, under case number 24PSCF00272.
Mr. Sarabia’s next court date is June 27, 2024, in Pomona Superior Court. Mr. Sarabia is being held on a “No bail” status.
Based on the nature of the allegations, detectives believe there may be additional unidentified victims. Detectives are seeking the public’s help in identifying any such victims.

One of the worse thing than can happen to a woman is to be violated by some no good scum bag. I know they must be tried, but it’s still a waste of tax payers time and money. His sorry butt should be dumped in a far away dessert, and if he ever is seen in any city where there are people, castrate him, then hang him.
