The incident occurred on February 9 in Yucaipa. Fontana officers were collaborating with the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department on a gang operation when they conducted a traffic stop involving the suspect.
Initially, the interaction seemed amicable, with the female officer engaging in conversation while her partner conducted routine checks on the suspect’s information.
