Authorities in Mexico report that on December 17, 2024, two municipal police officers were killed on the Apaseo el Alto-Jerécuaro highway in Guanajuato, Mexico.
The gunmen recorded their ambush on video and posted the video online.
Police also report that four other state police have been killed in separate shootings in the state.
The killings of these officers bring the total number of police officers killed in Guanajuato to 57.
