Houston Police Department Press Release Re: Houston Metro Robbery

The Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division needs the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect responsible for aggravated robbery.

On Monday, January 1, 2024, at around noon, an unknown male entered a cell phone store located at the 7900 block of Beechnut, in Houston, Texas. As the male entered the business with a pry bar and his face covered, the employee ran to the back office, closed the door, and locked it. The suspect walked around the counter and removed the cash drawer and several cell phones. The suspect then got into an older model Honda CR-V (spray painted in white) and fled the location.

Before the robbery, the suspect was observed entering a nearby gas station (without a mask) while paying for gasoline.

Suspect: Hispanic male, blue and gray jacket, black pants and sandals.
