The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) is releasing a video summary of the officer-involved shooting of Kenneth Roberts Jr. on December 30, 2024, in the 6500 block of E 30th Street. This incident involved officers from both the IMPD and Lawrence Police Departments.

This video is being posted on the department’s social media as a community briefing and is designed to give an overview of the incident. It includes available video and audio.

Multiple officers involved in this incident had body cameras and they were activated.
