The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department has released videos of the fatal officer-involved shooting of Frederick Davis in a Burger King restaurant.
Officers were trying to arrest Davis when he began fighting the officers. Davis then took Officer Nicolas Deem’s gun from his holster and shot Officer Deem.
Officer Deem returned fire from his backup gun and struck Davis.
Davis then fled out the front of the restaurant and was apprehended by officers. He was taken to Eskenazi Hospital, where he died.
