Interpol Issues Red Notice for Raymundo Martínez Carbajal

México state authorities apparently believe Raymundo Martínez Carbajal may have left the country.

México State Attorney General’s Office sources confirmed that Interpol has issued a Red Notice for the former mayor of Toluca, Mexico, Raymundo Martínez Carbajal.

A Red Notice is a request to law enforcement worldwide to locate and provisionally arrest a person pending extradition.

Raymundo Martínez Carbajal has been charged with kidnapping after allegedly ordering city police officers to arrest his father-in-law.

Viridiana Rodríguez, the ex-wife of Martínez, reported the kidnapping of her father to authorities, and also accused her ex-husband of crimes including physical and sexual violence and making threats toward her and other members of her family.
