The FBI and the San Benito County Sheriff’s Office ask for the public’s help locating Alfredo Antonio Arredondo.

According to the sheriff’s office, on 4/25/21, Arredondo and his girlfriend, Rebecca Nunez, followed the victim, Adolfo Davila Jr, from Johnny’s Bar and Grill, where they had an earlier disagreement.

When Davila arrived at his friend’s house, Arredondo allegedly shot and killed him and then fled the scene.

According to the sheriff’s office, the female accomplice was arrested in 2023 in the city of Modesto and was sentenced to four years in prison for her part in the crime.

Detectives say that Arredondo is still at large and has ties to Hollister, Merced and Modesto and that he may have fled to Mexico.
