Police say 27-year-old Jermain Rigueur was behind the series of unprovoked attacks. He now faces attempted murder, assault and criminal possession of a weapon.

The suspect who allegedly stabbed five people in a spree of random attacks in Queens was taken into custody Wednesday evening, a police source said.

Members of a task force spotted the man near Woodhull Hospital in Brooklyn, sources told PIX11 News.
