Jonathan Olivas and Amanda Sheppard Arrested After Shooting at Duran’s Pharmacy

Albuquerque Police Department Press Release Re: Duran’s Pharmacy Shooting

APD arrested two people for the accidental shooting that injured a man at Duran’s on Sunday. Amanda Sheppard had a gun in her purse but she said she was not aware the gun fired. Her boyfriend, Jonathan Olivas, admitted to picking up the gun and leaving the restaurant.

Sheppard, 39, is charged with unlawful carrying of a firearm in a licensed liquor establishment, negligent use of a firearm, unlawful carrying of a deadly weapon and tampering with evidence. Olivas, 28, is charged with tampering with evidence.
