Kelvin Davis and Keyjuanne McGhee Arrested For Alleged Robbery Shooting in Oakland

The Oakland Police Department said during their investigation, they learned one of the suspects was wanted in the March homicide of William Robinson.

The Alameda County District Attorney’s Office reports they have filed multiple felony charges against Kelvin Davis, 19, and Keyjuanne McGhee, 21, in connection to the April 2 robbery and shooting where the victim was shot three times.

Three in Custody, Multiple Firearms Recovered in Major OPD Cases

The Oakland Police Department has made tremendous progress in two cases. Officers assigned to Ceasefire arrested an adult male suspect in connection with last week’s shooting and robbery in the 1900 block of Cortereal Avenue.

Following the arrest, officers served a search warrant at a residence where they recovered a stolen firearm and an AR-type pistol (pictured above left). A second male adult wanted in connection with this case was arrested in the City of San Leandro.

All three individuals involved in the shooting and robbery on Cortereal Avenue are now in custody.

In a separate case, officers arrested an armed suspect wanted in connection with the March homicide of William Robinson. A follow-up search warrant led to the recovery of two firearms, including one equipped with a drum magazine (pictured above right).

During the investigation, officers learned that one of the suspects arrested in connection to the Cortereal Avenue shooting and robbery was wanted in connection with Robinson’s homicide.

All the arrests were made due to the collaborative efforts of OPD’s Ceasefire and Criminal Investigation Division (CID).

OPD remains committed to proactive policing to improve public safety and will continue to take steps to prevent violence and ensure the safety and well-being of our community members.
